Greetings from Menomonie
The Menomonie Area Soccer Association is a non-profit, community based organization run by parent volunteers and is governed by a board of directors.
The mission is to expose young people to the game of soccer and to develop individual/team skills through practice, instruction and games.
Below are two events about upcoming indoor events in New Richmond. Menomonie coaches are not directly involved with the creation of any of teams and if you can get enough of your friends interested, plan on registering on your own.
They are holding a 5v5 indoor tournament in the New Richmond High School Gymnasium. They will have 3 games going on at a time in the gymnasium and this will be a great way to get players a little action just before getting outside for the spring/summer season. The first event is scheduled for Saturday, March 14. It will be open to teams U11 and older, including a U17/Adult bracket, with both boys and girls brackets. Space will be limited so early sign up is encouraged.
On Saturday, March 28 New Richmond will be holding their 2nd Annual 3v3 indoor event for ages U9 through U11 both boys and girls. They use smaller PUG nets and with the smaller side games you have the opportunity to bring multiple teams. They had over 30 teams play last year and it is a great way for the younger kids to have some fun and get their foot on the ball before the outdoor season begins. Please see the documents below for more information.
The Menomonie Area Soccer Association is in the process of revising the current bylaws. Below are copies of the current bylaws, the current constitution, and the proposed bylaws that will be put before the board for a vote at the March 9th board meeting.
We now accept online registration, please click here to register.
Recreational teams will start playing again in the spring when the fields are thawed. If you have any questions about registration, please contact the Registrar.
